Text Box: Highway 11 Work In The Fast Lane...   Work on various sections of Highway 11 between Katrine and Sundridge will continue this summer, with much of the activity to be wrapped up by the Fall of 2008.  The interchange at Highways 11 and 520 in Burk’s Falls should be open by mid June.  The Katrine-to-Burk’s Falls project is on schedule for completion in the Fall. Text Box: Burk’s Falls Arena Fundraising Continues...   Although fundraising for the arena project has almost reached its goal (now at $935,000), efforts continue during the Spring.  There is a silent auction currently underway for a golf pass at Deerhurst valued at $660 - anyone can bid at the Burk’s Falls Village Office.  There will be a 1km walk and 5km run to raise money on May 10.  And the second Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Night will be held on June 21 at the arena - tickets are available at the Burk’s Falls Village Office (and they sold quickly last year!).
