April
24, 2006
Hydro crews have planned for a power outage in the Three
Mile Lake
area for up to 7 hours on Sunday, April 30, 2006
to accommodate the move of hydro lines for the Highway 11 expansion
project. Although most hydro work has
been done without power interruption, major changes are required during this
particular period as hydro lines are moved to new locations. A total of 50 hydro staff will be on site,
and the power interruption is expected to start at about 4:00am Sunday morning.
The outage will impact homes and businesses located in the townships of
Strong, Armour, Ryerson, Chapman, Croft, Laurier, Joly and Perry.
